Authors will discuss and illustrate how poetry can depict and communicate the experience of addiction and recovery from two perspectives: of a poet who has struggled with addiction as well as a poet who has been an intimate and long-term observer. With Ash Winters, Tara Borin, Cassandra Blanchard, and Sachiko Murakami. Hosted by Fiona Tinwei Lam.
Sachiko will be faculty for Poetry, Politics, and Embodiment, a 7-day online Banff Centre residency. Apply by September 8, 2021 for the October 16-22 program.
